Hives - no diagnosis

Does anyone else break out into hives occasionally during workouts? I have not taken any allergy tests. My allergist gave me prescription strength Allegra and said to take it each time I work out, but it only happens about 10 times a year. I don't want to live on Allegra, but I also don't want to risk breakouts when I'm working out! Wondering if anyone else has this problem.
